Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using TravelMaya at travelmaya.in ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What TravelMaya is — and is not

• All itineraries, recommendations, and cost estimates are for informational and planning purposes only.
• Clicking "Book on Booking.com" or similar links takes you to a third-party platform. Any booking you make is a contract between you and that platform/hotel — not with TravelMaya.
• TravelMaya earns a referral commission when bookings are made through our affiliate links, at no additional cost to you.

2. Accuracy of information

• All prices shown are estimates only, based on mid-range 2025 market data. Actual prices vary by season, availability, and provider and may differ significantly.
• Activity durations, travel times, and permit requirements are indicative. Always verify with local operators and official sources.
• High-altitude destinations (Leh, Spiti, Kedarnath, etc.) carry genuine health risks. Any health advisories shown on the site are not a substitute for medical advice. Consult a doctor before visiting high-altitude regions.
• TravelMaya makes no warranty, express or implied, that any information on this site is accurate, complete, or current.

3. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• TravelMaya is not liable for any loss, injury, expense, or damage arising from use of or reliance on any information on this site.
• TravelMaya is not liable for any third-party service (airline, hotel, transport, tour operator) that you engage based on our recommendations.
• TravelMaya is not responsible for travel disruptions, cancellations, safety incidents, or natural events at any destination.
• Our total liability, if any, is limited to ₹0 (zero), as the Service is provided free of charge.

4. User accounts

• You must provide a valid Indian mobile number to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User-generated content

When you submit a review or rating, you grant TravelMaya a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Service. You confirm that your review is honest and based on actual travel experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, false, or violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on TravelMaya — including destination descriptions, curated itineraries, activity suggestions, stay recommendations, and design — is the intellectual property of TravelMaya or its content contributors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute this content without written permission.

7. Affiliate disclosure

TravelMaya participates in affiliate programmes. Links marked "Book on Booking.com" and similar may earn us a commission if you make a purchase. This does not influence our recommendations — we only recommend stays we believe are genuinely good value for the traveller type.

8. Third-party links

The Service contains links to third-party websites (Booking.com, Google Maps, airline sites, etc.). TravelMaya has no control over and takes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of those sites.

9. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us at grievance@travelmaya.in. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
